Culturespaces Netherlands B.V., a private company with limited liability (een besloten vennootschap met beperkte aansprakelijkheid), with its office at Pazzanistraat 33, (1014 DB) Amsterdam (hereinafter referred to as "Culturespaces"), shall handle with the utmost care the personal data of visitors and users of its website and services. Culturespaces processes your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable Dutch privacy legislation. 2. PERSONAL DATA
Culturespaces processes your personal data because you use its services and/or because you supply such data yourself. All data is required in order to register on the Culturespaces website, make reservations, purchase tickets or subscribe to the newsletter. Please find below an overview of the personal data Culturespaces processes:
- first name;
- e-mail address;
- phone number;
- postal address;
- date of birth;
- copies of orders you have placed through the Culturespaces website;
- records of your visits to the Website and the contents that you have accessed; and
- other information communicated by you directly to Culturespaces.
Culturespaces does not intend to collect any data from website visitors under the age of 16 unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. Culturespaces cannot however verify that a visitor is over the age of 16. Culturespaces therefore recommends parents and/or guardians to be actively involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission. If you are aware that Culturespaces has collected personal data from a minor without consent, please contact Culturespaces at firstname.lastname@example.org. Culturespaces will then delete the information.
3. PURPOSE OF USING PERSONAL DATA
Culturespaces processes personal data to be enabled to provide its services properly. In accordance with applicable law, Culturespaces shall process personal data for – among other things – the purposes of your visit and registration on the Culturespaces website, making reservations, purchasing tickets and/or subscribing to the newsletter.
4. DATA PROCESSING PERIOD
Culturespaces shall process the personal data for at least the period that it is obliged to do so by law, but no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was obtained. The personal data in question will in any event be kept for as long as is required by law, including the obligation to keep records for tax purposes: this relates to information relating to tickets purchased or other services provided. When possible, Culturespaces will anonymize the data stored in such a way that it cannot be traced back to any individual.
5. SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
The personal data will not be distributed, sold, transferred, licensed or exchanged in any other way with third parties without your consent. Culturespaces will only disclose personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation.
6. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
All information is treated confidentially and is stored on secure servers. Culturespaces will take the protection of your data seriously and will take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration. 7. VIEWING, AMENDING, DELETING OR UPDATE PERSONAL DATA
You have the right to access, amend, delete or update your personal data. You are also entitled to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Culturespaces, and you are entitled to data transfer. This means that you can submit a request to Culturespaces to send the personal data it holds about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
You may send a request to view, amend, delete or update your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, Culturespaces requests that you enclose a scan or copy of your proof of identity with the request. To protect your privacy, please make sure that your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with number at the bottom of your passport), passport number and Citizen's Service Number (BSN) are blackened in this copy. Culturespaces will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than four (4) weeks.
Culturespaces only uses technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not violate your privacy. The cookies used by Culturespaces are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use.
